Regan resigns as Eccleshill boss
21st May, 2019
Eccleshill United have announced that Sean Regan has resigned as manager of the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division club after almost four years in charge.
He became boss in November 2015 with the Eagles mid-table in Division One and he guided them to promotion in the 2017/18 season and, in the last campaign, led his side to a top-ten finish in the top flight.
A club statement said that Regan leaves Eccleshill "with the club's full gratitude."
It continued: "Sean has done a tremendous job for Eccleshill United over the past few years, and the club respects his decision of leaving and searching for new opportunities.
"We wish Sean and his family the very best for the future.
"We'd also like to thank Sean's backroom staff over the years for their tremendous work."
