Parramore Boss Steps Down

14th May, 2013

Worksop Parramore have announced that Darren Bland is stepping down as manager of the Baris NCEL Premier Division club.

Bland, who took over at the Windsor Foodservice Stadium in August 2011, guided them to promotion from Division One last season before finishing in seventh spot in the side's first campaign in the league's top tier.

A statement released by the club said: "Darren has been put under increasing demands from his successful business and cannot commit the amount of time necessary to meet the requirements of such a progressive club."

Chairman Pete Whitehead said: "Although I'm disappointed, I fully understand his situation and I would like to take this opportunity of wishing Darren and his family all the very best for the future.

"And, I thank him for managing the club in the way he has over the last two seasons in a very professional manner."
