Change of Boss at Hall Road Rangers
1st October, 2012
Hall Road Rangers have announced that, with immediate effective, manager Martin Thacker will step down from his current role of player manager.
He will be succeeded as manager by current first team coach Andy Foster who took over the reins for the first time at the weekend in the epic 3-2 win over Parkgate.
Martin will remain at the club resuming his original role of player.
When questioned on the matter, chairman Jamie Barnwell stated: "I'm delighted Andy has taken on the role. We have known each other for some time and I'm safe in the knowledge his ethos matches my own.
"It's an exciting time as we work towards creating the right environment for development across all our age groups to which Andy is integral."
Hall Road Rangers welcome local rivals Bridlington Town to Dene Park on Wednesday evening to vie over who will get the first bragging rights of the season.
