Robins Minute Silence For Roughley
25th November, 2009
Selby Town held a minute's silence before their game last night in honour of a former player who has died following a car crash.
Jason Roughley, who also turned out for Armthorpe Welfare in the NCEL, spent three weeks in a coma in the intensive care unit of Leeds General Infirmary.
It was after his vehicle hit a tree between North Duffield, where he lived, and Skipwith.
He died on Tuesday morning, just two days after his 24th birthday.
Selby, a club where he played for several seasons, led the tributes to him ahead of their Presidents Cup tie with AFC Emley.
