Horror Injury for McDaid
19th August, 2009
Selby Town will be without the services of James McDaid for twelve weeks after a horror injury at the weekend.
In a somewhat innocuous challenge on Saturday against Leeds Carnegie in the FA Cup, the midfielder has broken his tibula and his fibula.
Selby Town sources say he had an operation on Sunday and has now left hospital and is feeling okay considering the circumstances, but it is a big blow for the lad and the club.
Everybody at the club and at the KoolSport NCEL wishes him all the very best, and hopes for a speedy recovery.
