Two Sheffield Wednesday legends are the guests at Harworth Colliery's fifth Sportsman's Evening that is taking place later this month.
Full-back Mel Sterland, who made almost 350 appearances for the Owls in the 1970s and 1980s, will be joined by prolific striker David Hirst who scored 106 goals in 294 league games for the club between 1986 and 1997.
Top comedian Jed Stone will also be part of the entertainment on a vital fundraising night for Harworth that is sponsored by Jones and Co Solicitors.
It takes place at the Welfare Hall in Bircotes on Saturday 14th July with the doors open from 7pm.
Tickets are £20 each including food with tables of eight available for £150 and tables of ten for £180.
It is set to be a cracking night and tickets can be bought from Brendan Wilson on 07776 305623 or Jonny Wilson on 07979 958255.
