A winding up petition served against Arnold Town has been withdrawn following a mediation meeting.

Last month, the High Court halted proceedings brought by the Landscape Contractor of the Eagle Valley development by 42 days so that things could be resolved amicably.

And, the two sides met on Friday where a settlement was agreed.

The Eagles can now start preparing for the new season and have already lined up a prestigious opening friendly with Notts County to be played at Eagle Valley on Saturday 10th July.
