Eagle Swoops For Parkgate Return
5th November, 2009
There has been a change of management at KoolSport NCEL Premier Division side, Parkgate.
Boss Sean Hutchinson resigned after Saturday's 8-3 defeat at Hall Road Rangers - a result that keeps them in the bottom five of the table.
The Steelmen have moved quickly to appoint Russell Eagle as manager and Darren Bonnington as his assistant.
Their first game in charge will be the weekend's home league clash with Armthorpe Welfare.
Hutchinson had been at the helm since June 2008 when, ironically, he took over from Eagle.
During his last spell, Eagle guided Parkgate to the Division One title and promotion to the Premier Division.
He also lifted the Wilkinson Sword Trophy in the two-and-a-half years he was in charge.
