A charity donation following Long Eaton United's KoolSport NCEL League Cup victory last season has been handed over.?500 was available to the winner's chosen cause from Baris Group Ltd., the sponsors of the Cup Final hosts, Staveley Miners Welfare.
Long Eaton decided that it was to be given to the Ronald MacDonald House Charity who support families with children in hospital - and here is a picture of them receiving the donation.
The club will also be honoured at a civic reception at Long Eaton Town Hall next month.
It will be hosted by newly elected mayor Terry Holbrook whilst councillors Mike Wallis and Roland Hosker - who gives a lot of time to the club - will also be in attendance.
The event takes place on Monday 10th August and had been delayed to allow manager Mark Harvey to complete his holiday to Portugal.
