Ponte Colls staff were devastated last night when they turned up for training to find that thieves had struck at the Beechnut Lane Stadium.

A massive hole had been smashed in to the side of the club wall.

Upon entry to the clubhouse, total devastation was found with smashed display cabinets and various items stolen.

Police were called in to action and three people are now helping them with their enquiries.

A spokesman said: "This normally would bring the fixtures in to doubt, however the fantastic members of Ponte Colls are rallying round to ensure the games are played."
