Staveley New Boss Hunt Continues
9th September, 2009
Staveley Miners Welfare say they are keeping an open mind when it comes to appointing their new management team.
Their search began when Darren Bland and his assistant stepped down last week.
The club say they are "considering several routes and options to fill the vacancies."
Their statement continues: "We are inviting applications for the posts that express interests from a manager and/or manager/assistant to work within our well documented youth ethos.
"Our current squads at all levels comply with the club's ethos and, in our opinion, do not require wholesale changes and we wish to see these squads given full opportunities to prove their worth.
"A remunerated position, the applicant/s will be expected to buy-in to the clubs code of conduct, comply with the administration requirements of the club and attend monthly meetings with the committee to discuss progress, player developments and any additional player signings.
"A first team goalkeeper probably with experience is the player priority but the club do not wish to see a large influx of new players that may upset the balance of the club and the ethos on which the clubs foundations are based."
Applicants should email their interest and CV to the Chairman, Terry Damms, at teldamms@aol.com.
