New Management Board Structure

The KoolSport NCEL Management Board structure for the 2009/10 season has been finalised at an Emergency Board Meeting last night.
It was called as a number of positions were left vacant at the end of the last campaign after President Frank Catt, Chairman Tom Dixon and Vice Chairman Derek Waterfall retired and Referees' Assessors' Secretary Steve Rhodes stood down.
David Morrall has been elected as Chairman but will remain as Fixtures Secretary and Referees Secretary for the time being.
Peter Lang is the League's new Vice Chairman whilst Brian Gould stays as Secretary and Treasurer and Steve Wall was re-elected as Registration Secretary.
There were a number of new faces co-opted on to the Board with Ian Cox becoming Ground Grading Secretary, succeeding Frank Catt.
Ian, a retired police inspector, has been a referee for over two decades and has officiated in the NCEL for eight years as well as being involved in a number of Referee Associations.
He currently oversees four ground grading officers, with Bruce Hatton staying in the role whilst Karl Blackburn, who has been a Club Representative in the past, becomes part of the team.
Joining them are two new officers, David Kirk and Stuart Lloyd who NCEL clubs will know for their work at former club Harrogate Railway and who have also been match officials in the past.
Jason Harrison has been re-elected as Website Manager.
The post of Referees' Assessors' Secretary remains vacant but interviews take place next week to fill that role.
And, two club representatives are required with Peter Lang and Karl Blackburn leaving that role and nominations are now invited from NCEL teams to fill those posts.
