Thackley AFC have parted company with long-serving manager John Boyle.

Club Secretary Christopher Frank said: "The decision to release John from his responsibilities was arrived at only after lengthy and heartfelt deliberation within the committee.

"He leaves with our genuine best wishes and sincerest thanks.

"During his five years in charge, John has produced some remarkable results on the admittedly limited budget at his disposal.

"His replacement will need to be as equally resourceful, if not more so, if the club is to match present off-field developments by progressing to the Northern Premier League - which is our prime objective."

Interested parties are invited to submit an application detailing coaching qualifications, past achievements and future expectations to Thackley AFC, c/o 2 Belle Vue Close, Thackley, Bradford, BD10 8PF by Saturday 7th June.

Interviews will be held shortly afterwards.
