Dinnington Town are the only NCEL side definitely through to the Third Round of Qualifying in the FA Cup after the weekend action.

A second-half brace from Ant Lynam saw them claim a 2-1 home win over Cheadle Town to progress in the competition.

Glapwell have another attempt to join them on Tuesday night following a thrilling 4-4 draw at home to Market Drayton Town.

The visitors took an early lead through Tom Rogers before Matt Varley and Ian Brown gave the Hall Corner outfit a slim advantage at half-time.

Then, there was controversy as Aaron Brady scored directly from a drop-ball on the hour mark to put Glapwell 3-1 ahead.

With the visitors furious, the hosts allowed them to score straight away, Rogers grabbing his and Town's second of the afternoon.

Paul McCullen then levelled matters at 3-3 before Brady reclaimed the lead for Glapwell, only for Martyn Davies to force the replay eight minutes from time.

Liversedge and Gedling Town, meanwhile, bowed out of the competition with a 3-0 loss at home to Kendal Town and a 3-1 defeat at Stamford, respectively.

In the Premier Division, Nostell Miners Welfare extended their lead at the top to four points as a Neil Samardizj hat-trick kept them unbeaten with a 4-1 win at Arnold Town.

Winterton Rangers moved up to second with an equally impressive away victory as a Rob Northen brace helped them to a 3-0 scoreline at Eccleshill United who remain fifth.

And, two from Ricky Belding saw Armthorpe Welfare climb to third as they beat Long Eaton United 2-0.
A 2-0 win at home for Pickering Town means they are now sixth.

They overtake Hallam who, despite first-half strikes from Andrew Wood and Chris Dickman, were defeated by three goals in the last twelve minutes of their game against Thackley.

Ross Daley, James Firth and Danny Forest claimed the three points for the visitors.

Shirebrook Town also won by a 3-2 scoreline at Selby Town with Rob Orton grabbing the vital third on the brink of injury time.

That was not the end of the action as Jonathan Lukes struck in the fifth minute of injury time for a consolation for the hosts.

Shirebrook are now twelfth, one place ahead of South Normanton Athletic who, thanks to a Martin Bowles goal and a Valadmir Santos Farrell penalty, won 2-0 at Glasshoughton Welfare.

Mickleover Sports and Parkgate were home winners, claiming a 2-1 victory over Brodsworth Welfare and a 3-1 scoreline against Lincoln Moorlands Railway, respectively.

Barton Town Old Boys are the Division One leaders as they won 4-2 at home to Leeds Met Carnegie.

Hall Road Rangers climb to third after a 2-0 home win over Scarborough Athletic, a defeat that sees the visitors fall to fifth.

Teversal are now sixth after their 3-2 victory against visitors Tadcaster Albion and Staveley Miners Welfare move up to eighth after a remarkable 5-3 victory at Pontefract Collieries.

Lee Gregory opened the scoring for Staveley in the opening minute before two from Craig Elliott meant that Ponte went in at half-time with a 2-1 lead.

But, Gregory claimed his hat-trick as the visitors picked up the three points with goals also from Jonathan Wall and Paul Clements.

AFC Emley have also risen up the table after picking up three priceless points.

Allan Laud struck twice as did Gavin Birmingham for them as they won 3-1 at home to Yorkshire Amateur, that after Steve Hart had given the Ammas an early lead.
