One NCEL player has recently been involved in international action and he could soon be joined by another.

South Normanton Athletic striker Valadmir Santos-Farrell was in World Cup Qualifying action last month for Montserrat and found the back of the net for his country.

However, his team went down 7-1 to Surinam in the game that took place on the 26th of March.

Meanwhile, AFC Emley's goalkeeper Jamie Green has been put on standby for the Northern Ireland U20s side as they prepare for a tournament in Portugal later this week.

Ironically, it comes at a time when he is unable to play for the NCEL Division One side.

He is currently serving a ban until the 5th of May picked up whilst playing for Sunday League side, the Moulders Arms.
