1874 Northwich test for Colls

4th December, 2017

Pontefract Collieries will travel to Cheshire in the New Year as they look to book their place in the last sixteen of this season's Buildbase FA Vase.

The Toolstation NCEL's sole representatives left in the competition will face Hallmark Security League side 1874 Northwich on Saturday 6th January, 2018.

It means that their league match at Staveley Miners Welfare due to take place on that date will be rescheduled.

The Colls reached the Fourth Round for the first time in their history by beating league rivals Worksop Town on Saturday.

And, they will now face a fellow Step 5 side established in 2012 by supporters of Northwich Victoria that is currently 18th in the Premier Division of their league.

The Fourth Round draw saw the 32 teams split into two regional zones with the competition becoming fully nationalised for the first time this season at the next stage.
