25th November, 2017
Liversedge have revealed that their clubhouse was broken into earlier this week, causing major damage and a massive loss of stock and equipment.
The Toolstation NCEL Premier Division side took to social media on Friday night, tweeting: "Terrible news.
"Tuesday, the clubhouse was broken into causing damage to three doors, and the theft of all our bar stock, training equipment including balls and the players' new tracksuits that had not been given out plus our new warm up tops.
"If anyone sees or hears anything, let us know."
The club added in a later message: "The theft of our equipment and stock is really going to cause us trouble going forward."
Sedge are the third NCEL club to have suffered vandalism in recent weeks with Clipstone and East Yorkshire Carnegie also left to pick up the pieces left by mindless vandals and they have set up a JustGiving page and are asking for help in raising £1,500.
