Fans charity walk to help build Tigers squad

20th July, 2017

A group of Worksop Town supporters will be doing a sponsored walk ahead of one of their Toolstation NCEL Premier Division matches this season to help boss Ryan Hindley to build the best squad possible.

They will be making the fourteen mile trip from their home ground on Sandy Lane, Worksop, to near neighbours Clipstone's Worksop Van Hire Stadium for their game on Saturday 2nd September, 2017.

Writing on a JustGiving page set up to raise 500, Mitchell Radford said: "We are a fan funded club so it's vital the fans try and do everything they can to raise money for the club. We are not asking for much, even 1 would be great every little helps.

"Over the years, we have had a lot of hurt and ups-and-downs. Now the club seems to be on the up with our fantastic manager Ryan Hindley. Like I said, we are fan funded so he can't do it all on his own.

"This is our best chance of promotion in years so if you could find it in your heart to donate that will be suprerb and I thank you unconditionally!"
