Grimes to step down

5th October, 2017

Due to personal reasons, Winterton Rangers player-manager Paul Grimes has taken the decision to step down from his role as boss of the Toolstation NCEL Division One side.

The club say, though, that he wishes to continue playing so that he can concentrate his efforts on the pitch and he will remain in charge until a suitable replacement is appointed.

The West Street club's directors have extended their gratitude to Grimes, thanking him for all his time, effort and commitment he has given to the role along with the way and manner by which he has taken the decision to step down.

Rangers are now inviting applications for the role as first team manager that should be made to the chairman Wayne Turtle via email to wintertonrangers@gmail.com.

The closing date for applications is Thursday 12th October, 2017.
