Cemkem are new sponsors at AFC Emley

10th July, 2017

AFC Emley will have a new name on their first team home shirts from next season with Cemkem joining as a new main sponsor.

Cemkem are manufacturers and distributors of additives for the dry bagged mortar and other cementitious industries. Operating from a purpose-built 25,000 square foot building they blend, bag, sachet and palletises dry admixtures for mortars and screeds.

They are also committed to local communities where they operate and the opportunity to support AFC Emley was one they couldn't refuse.

Director Damian Baxendale said: "AFC Emley is the type of club that epitomises non-league football - volunteers working tirelessly to keep grassroots football alive."

Cemkem is the home of Lithkem and Lithkem Plus which is a novel replacement for lithium carbonate used to accelerate the hydration process of both the fast set cements and portland cement. With over 50 years' experience in the cement industry, the team at Cemkem can offer expert technical advice and support.

Tony Worthington, commercial manager for Toolstation NCEL Division One side AFC Emley, commented: "Cemkem agreeing to sponsor our club is excellent news.

"The directors of Cemkem have clearly demonstrated their belief in the value of semi-professional sport with this deal.

"We look forward to a long lasting and successful relationship."

Worthington has been hard at work over the summer securing a number of new sponsors and advertisers. Anyone interested in contacting him is asked to call 07977 074745 or email tony@afcemley.co.uk.
