A frustrating March blighted by bad weather finished in familiar fashion as only four fixtures survived heavy rain in the Toolstation NCEL on Saturday.
Premier Division leaders AFC Mansfield
extended their lead at the top of the table to eight points as their match at the Forest Town Stadium was the sole game to go ahead in the top flight.
A quickfire Oliver Fearon double towards the end of the first half was added to in the last ten minutes of the second period by a goal direct from a corner by Connor Smythe and then Lynton Karkach completed the scoring in a 4-0 home victory over Staveley Miners Welfare
have climbed up into the play-off zone in Division One following their 5-1 defeat of visitors Rossington Main
, Robert Oldham's opener for the hosts on 22 minutes cancelled out by Jason Stokes before a Conor Glavin penalty gave Welfare a narrow 2-1 half-time lead.
But, two from Andrew Horbury and another spot-kick converted by Glavin ensured a comfortable victory for the home side who are now sixth.
There was also movement up the table for the day's two other winners, AFC Emley
and Ollerton Town
Emley are up to eleventh after Joe Jackson's third minute strike ensured a 1-0 win at home to Winterton Rangers
