Seadogs Chairman May Have Lymphoma
12th February, 2011
Scarborough Athletic have announced that their chairman Richard Adamson may have a form of lymphoma.
The disease, which could be affecting the lymphatic cells of Richard's immune system, is most likely to have been behind his recent loss of concentration and subsequent car crash in Leeds after the Seadogs' game against Farsley AFC.
A statement from the club's website says: "Richard is currently resting at home, but will shortly be admitted to hospital in Hull to assess the various treatment options available to him.
"Lymphoma can be entirely curable, and everyone is confident that he will respond positively to the appropriate treatment."
Everyone at the KoolSport NCEL would like to send Richard our best wishes in his recovery.
