Flood Hits Eagle Valley
9th December, 2010
A burst water pipe has caused a major flood at Arnold Town's Eagle Valley Complex.
The KoolSport NCEL Premier Division side made the discovery this morning.
The break in the pipe in the cellar caused water of up to two inches deep to flood a large part of the building, including the entrance hall, kitchen, toilets, bar and clubhouse.
A club spokesperson said: "Club members and the insurance brokers, Firth and Scott, acted very quickly as a damage limitation plan was put into operation.
"This was reasonably successful and we have high hopes that the club will reopen on Friday."
