New Stadium Sponsor for Seasiders

25th November, 2010

Bridlington Town chairman Peter Smurthwaite has unveiled a new sponsor of the KoolSport NCEL Premier Division club's Queensgate Stadium.

He told the league website: "Following the completion of our recent ground naming sponsorship deal, I am pleased to announce I have completed a new deal and, from this weekend, our stadium will be known as the Neil Hudgell Law Stadium.

"After several weeks of negotiations Neil Hudgell, who is also the Chairman of Hull Kingston Rovers Rugby League Club, has agreed to sponsor the stadium for two years with an option for a third.

"The deal involves new signage and branding at the stadium and additional advertising on the club website and matchday programmes.

Neil Hudgell Law are also the back of shirt sponsor at Hull City AFC, stand sponsors at Elland Road, Leeds and sponsors at various other sporting organisations.

"Neil recognises how important sponsorship is for local teams being a club chairman himself and I very much appreciate the help and support of his company which brings added financial stability to our football club in difficult economic times."

Neil Hudgell added: "I am a strong believer in supporting local communities and local sport.

"I'm very proud to back Bridlington Town and Scarborough Athletic and I am looking forward to enjoying some great matches at the newly named ground."

Neil Hudgell Law is a specialist firm of no win no fee solicitors with offices in Hull and Leeds.

The firm has teams of solicitors with impressive track records in successfully resolving personal injury claims, medical and professional negligence cases.

Meanwhile, Bridlington Town have also thanked their previous stadium sponsor, Mike Reay from Lane Rental Services Ltd, for his support for the last four years and they will continue to sponsor the club with other advertising.
