Change of boss at Humber following Maspero departure

27th September, 2021

FC Humber United have announced a change of management team following the resignation of boss Mark Maspero prior to last weekend.

The Toolstation NCEL Division One club said they "reluctantly accepted" his decision to stand down which came on Friday evening.

The statement continued: "All at the club thank Mark for the hard work, commitment and dedication to the club in building to where we are today over the past ten months and for going above and beyond his position as first team manager.

"We wish Mark well for the future and sure he will be back in charge of a team in the near future.

"With our fixture against Shirebrook on Tuesday evening, we have had to act quickly and can confirm the appointment of Marc Brown as manager alongside Luke Herriott (manager) and Paul Reed (assistant manager) who join the club in our new management team.

"We would like to wish Marc, Luke and Paul all the best in our new coaching setup and build upon what we have accomplished so far."
