Worsbrough Bridge Athletic are looking for local businesses to support them in their push for promotion.

The Briggers, as they are known by their supporters, play in the KoolSport Northern Counties East League and are looking for a complete package of sponsor support from local businesses who want to back the local team on their rise through the non-league system.

The club have appointed Elliot Thompson to head up commercial relationships, who is pushing the 'Support The Briggers' campaign, and he has addressed all the club's offerings to engage local businesses.

He said: "The club is the second largest in the area after Barnsley Football Club and people embrace that.

"Not only do we have a loyal following, but we play in the FA Cup and get great media coverage.

"We are getting a good level of support from local businesses already and we look forward to involving more of them and arranging some amazing opportunities with them."

Among the most lucrative partnerships still available is the prestigious spot of stadium naming rights and shirt sponsorship.

Other opportunities are available such as ground and programme presence, all at refined rates starting at ?27 for the new season.

These opportunities offer promotion to businesses on the club website, league website, in local and national press and via other promotional vehicles
