North Ferriby made another huge step towards Wembley but are now the only Toolstation NCEL side left in this season's Buildbase FA Vase after Liversedge bowed out at the Fourth Round stage on Saturday. The Villagers booked their place in the last sixteen of the competition with an overwhelming 4-0 home victory over Ebac Northern League side West Auckland Town.
Chris Bolder's side dominated in every department, taking the lead after twelve minutes via a Jamie Forrester spot-kick after Danny Clarke had been upended in the penalty box.
They doubled their advantage midway through the first period through Thomas Corner before a late double from Danny Buttle confirmed their progression to a Fifth Round tie at Warrington Rylands next weekend.
Bolder said at the final whistle: "The boys were top drawer and came out thoroughly deserved winners.
"The biggest prize at the minute is to keep playing week on week and I think you have seen, both this week and last, the hunger and drive from each player to continue.
"I thought we were tremendous in every department even after they threw everything at us just after half-time at 2-0 down, so it was important we stayed strong and were resilient and we were."
Liversedge, meanwhile, were beaten 2-1 at another Northern League side, Hebburn Town, who are looking to get to Wembley twice in May as they contest last season's delayed FA Vase Final with Consett there at the start of next month.
Thomas Greaves brought Sedge back level on 35 minutes after Amar Purewal had given their hosts the lead on the half-hour mark.
But, Michael McKeown ensured it was the home side who went through, grabbing the winner with nineteen minutes remaining.
