The FA have confirmed the Step 5 and Step 6 teams that will be invited to apply for promotion as part of the restructuring of the National League System ahead of the 2021/22 season.

Three Toolstation NCEL Premier Division sides will be given the opportunity to move up to help form a new Step 4 division whilst three Division One teams will get the chance to replace them at Step 5.

The criteria used will be the top three sides in both divisions when Points Per Game (PPG) is taken into account over the past two seasons.

The FA have confirmed that Liversedge, Yorkshire Amateur and Bridlington Town in the Premier Division, and Winterton Rangers, Emley AFC and Skegness Town in Division One, will be approached this week.

Staveley Miners Welfare and then Penistone Church are on standby in the Premier Division along with Campion and then North Ferriby in Division One should any of the first choice clubs turn down promotion.

Clubs have until next Monday (3rd May) to put in their application with the FA sub-committee meeting to approve them on the following Monday (10th May), and the league constitutions for Season 2021/22 will be confirmed seven days later.
