Club Preparation Fund launched by Football Foundation

5th July, 2020

After the success of their recent Pitch Preparation Fund, the Football Foundation has now launched a new scheme that will help football clubs and organisations to make their facilities a safer environment for when matches restart.

Grants of £500 will be available in the Club Preparation Fund to help clubs purchase items such as hand sanitiser, or to carry out essential maintenance work, such as running water.

It's open to FA National League System clubs - including those who participate in the Toolstation NCEL - as well as grassroots football clubs and organisations, Welsh Cymru Premier League clubs and The FA Women's pyramid that manage their own buildings.

The application window is open until Sunday 19th July, 2020, and more information can be found by going to the Football Foundation website.

The Football Foundation's previous scheme, the Pitch Preparation Fund, saw 33,000 clubs benefiting and £7m being invested into preparing nearly 10,000 playing surfaces across the country.
