Non-League Day proved a success for Toolstation NCEL clubs with a 65% uplift compared with average attendances for the 2019/20 season.

Just over 4,500 people turned out to support clubs involved in FA Vase and league matches with Knaresborough Town and Brigg Town recording attendances over 500.

There was also impressive crowds at Campion and Selby Town, along with ten clubs recording their highest attendance of the season so far.

League Development Officer Simon Pollard said: "It is pleasing to report that the majority of clubs enjoyed an increased attendance for Non-League Day.

"Hopefully, some of the supporters visiting matches on Saturday will return on a regular basis."
