The NCEL website has received an email from Down Under from a former NCEL star who is now living in Australia.

Andy Cygan, who played in the League for clubs such as Tadcaster Albion, Selby Town, Farsley Celtic and Liversedge, sent us this update:

"My English career unfortunately finished a little early aged 28 as I moved to Australia to work in July last year with my girlfriend Helen Millington. We're out here for a minimum of four years.

"I'm soon to start with a team out here and can't wait to be playing once the season starts.

"On January the 27th, I proposed at the top of Sydney Harbour Bridge and Helen said 'Yes' after 11 years together."

Congratulations to Andy and we're sure you'll show those Aussies how to play football!
