As there is some confusion arising over the number of clubs that have applied to join the Northern Counties East League, the League have released the list of teams that have shown an interest.

AFC Emley and Nostell Miners Welfare have expressed a desire to join from the West Yorkshire League.

Meanwhile, there are four interested clubs from the Central Midlands League - Barton Town Old Boys, Dinnington Town, Radford and Rainworth Miners Welfare.

Ground grading inspections are now taking place and the teams that will be accepted into the NCEL for next season will be the ones that pass their inspection, finish in a high enough position in their league and are allowed to progress by their league as part of an agreement with the NCEL.
