Glapwell's Hall Corner ground will be the venue for a huge charity match next weekend.

A Scott Sellars Legends XI will take on a Jamie Walker Select XI on Sunday the 20th of May, kick-off 3pm.

All money raised will go to the Haemotology Department at King's Mill Hospital in Mansfield who helped Jamie beat cancer when he was struck down with Hodgkins Lymphoma last year.

Legendary players that will be taking part include Steve Ogrizovic, Nigel Clough, Andy Beasley, Simon Coleman, Ernie Moss, Bobby McDonald, Andy Kowalski and Danny Wilson.

The fun starts at 1pm with a pre-match seven-a-side tournament that will include Mansfield Police, Follow The Yellow Brick Road - the Mansfield Town Supporters team - and Mansfield 2020 businesses.

There will also be a fancy dress match between Mansfield 103.2 presenters and King's Mill nurses.

Off-the-pitch, there will be a balloon race, the Bakewell Silver Band, a bouncy castle and clowns.

?20,000 has already been raised with a charity game at Belper Town last summer and a sportman's dinner, so please come along and help what is a marvellous cause.
