Congratulations to Retford United who have tonight lifted the Presidents Cup Trophy despite losing the second leg of the Final.

The Badgers had done all the hard work in the first encounter last week when they beat visitors Selby Town 4-1.

This evening, Selby made home advantage pay to claim a 2-1 victory with Adam Russell grabbing both their goals whilst Mick Godber struck late on for Retford.

Retford were, therefore, 5-3 aggregate winners and they are now hoping to make it a double with the Premier Division title also in their sights.
