Eagles Hold 'Special Meeting'

16th February, 2007

NCEL Premier Division side Arnold Town are hosting what they are calling a "Special Meeting" on Monday evening.

It will be in place of their usual Club Committee Meeting and will begin at 7.30pm.

A statement on their official website says: "It is hoped that all those who support the Club in whatever capacity will be able to attend and receive an update on the position with regard to the move to Eagle Valley.

"Obviously with such a move becoming closer the physical and financial resources of the Club are, and will continue to be, stretched to the limit.

"We need a lot of help especially on match days to ensure that the three teams are able to play. Fund raising is urgent as costs increase, eg. the electricity bill for this quarter was ?940, and the unexpected costs of the new ground continue to arrive.

"We need ideas and help. If you can spend a couple of hours on Monday we would be very pleased as the Club can only benefit from your input.

"Thanking you in anticipation for your attendance the Club Committee looks forward to meeting you on Monday. "
