Hollingworth In At Glapwell

6th September, 2006

Glapwell manager Les McJannet has taken another step towards rebuilding the side for this season.

McJannet has returned to his former club Sutton Town to land highly-rated left back Nathan Hollingworth, who appeared to have fallen out of favour with Snipes boss Lee Wilson.

Hollingworth joins Glapwell skipper Steve Roebuck, alongside whom he has played at both Hucknall Town and Sutton.

The new boy has also featured with distinction at Shirebrook Town.

Hollingworth, who is completing a week-long ban held over from last season, said that he was delighted to be rejoining his former boss, and praised the set-up at his new club.

"I'm looking forward to getting back playing and working with Les again," he said.

"There have been a lot of changes here, but it's a great set-up and good things are happening.

"I enjoyed my time at Sutton but the time has come to move on."

Roebuck hailed his old team mate as a great signing, and expressed his surprise that a man with 'the best left peg around these parts' was left out at Sutton.

"Their loss is Glapwell's gain," he added.
