Gala Day For New Stand

15th August, 2006

Long Eaton United have announced a special gala day for the opening of their new as-yet-unnamed stand.

It is part of a number of improvements recently made to the Grange Park ground by the NCEL Premier Division club.

Celebrations take place on Sunday the 3rd of September.

The event will start at 2pm with activities running throughout the afternoon and then, in the evening, entertainment will be available in the clubhouse.

There will be a mini-soccer exhibition given by the Under-8 side and training session by the girls team.

A match between the President's XI and Chairman's XI will kick-off at 3.30pm and will involve former Long Eaton players.

There will also be a tombola, raffle, bouncy castle and many other attractions.

Inside the clubhouse there will be presentations about the club's history, Long Eaton United Netball team, Pool team and the club's facilities.
