Midfield-defender Steve Roebuck has joined his former Sutton Town boss Les McJannet at Glapwell.

Former Hucknall Town player Roebuck had contemplated quitting the game after completing four seasons at Sutton, but was persuaded by his father to play on.

"Les McJannet has been loyal to me over the years which is why I have followed him to Glapwell, in the hope that I can repay some of that faith he's had in me," he said.

Meanwhile, Glapwell are continuing their rebuilding after losing virtually all of last season's squad.

And, with McJannet's resumed partnership with Kevin Gee, things should start to look up again at Hall Corner.
