The Management Board of the Toolstation Northern Counties East Football League has sadly accepted a resignation notice from member club Dinnington Town.

In this resignation, Dinnington Town agreed to finish the playing season which they duly have done.

As a result of this, Dinnington Town will be placed in the bottom position of Division One for relegation purposes as defined in the Regulations for the Operation of the National League System rule 5.4 (i) although the club has indicated that they will cease to operate as a club upon completion of this season's fixtures.

This, therefore, means that Appleby Frodingham and Louth Town will move up one position for relegation purposes to 21st and 20th respectively.

There will be no further comment from the Toolstation Northern Counties East League on this matter until such time as The Football Association Leagues Committee have agreed a provisional League constitution for season 2014/15.
