Barton Town Old Boys are now four points clear at the top of the Toolstation Northern Counties East Football League following this midweek's games.
They picked up a point at fifth-placed Albion Sports in a 1-1 draw on Wednesday night to slightly stretch their lead over Tadcaster Albion.
Long Eaton United claimed their seventh victory on their travels, winning 2-1 at Staveley Miners Welfare, Gareth Longford and Gerome Palmer with their goals after Ellis Wall had given the hosts a 20th minute lead.
Tuesday had seen two further games in the division, Brighouse Town beating visitors Armthorpe Welfare, 4-1, whilst there was a 2-2 draw for Worksop Parramore and Maltby Main.
Ernest Boafo struck twice for Brighouse in their victory that came about after James Walker had put Armthorpe ahead.
Maltby levelled twice to take a point from their game with both of their goals coming from Oliver Fearon.
And, Bridlington Town booked a place at home to Parramore in the Third Round of the League Cup after their 2-0 home victory over Athersley Recreation on Wednesday, Joel Sutton netting twice for the Seasiders, once in each half.
