Two of the three Toolstation NCEL sides with hundred percent records continued their perfect starts to the 2013/14 season with victories on Bank Holiday Monday.
Albion Sports and Thackley go above Retford United who dropped points for the first time with a 3-2 defeat at home to fifth-placed Athersley Recreation.
Jake Stannard and Liam Wilkin had put the Badgers two up after just 22 minutes but Rec pulled one back from the penalty spot, converted by Lee Bennett, then two goals in quick succession at the start of the second half from Joe Thornton and Ryan White gave the visitors the win.
So, Sports are the new leaders on goal difference after a 4-0 win at Armthorpe Welfare, Asif Hussain's penalty and a David Brown strike before the interval added to with goals from Daniel Facey and Joel Ettiene midway through the second period.
Thackley also made it five wins out of five with a 2-1 victory at home to Heanor Town, Nicky Matthews and Matthew Mathers scoring in the last quarter-of-an-hour after Courey Grantham had given the visitors a first half advantage.
Goals from Tom Fleming and Joel Sutton saw Bridlington Town beat Maltby Main 2-0 at the Neil Hudgell Law Stadium to keep the Seasiders in fourth spot.
The Premier Division's goalscoring feat of the day came from Ryan Hall who struck all four goals for Brighouse Town in their 4-2 victory at Staveley Miners Welfare.
And, Barton Town Old Boys were the biggest winners as they defeated visitors Winterton Rangers, 8-0, Ashley Lattimore and Luke Thompson grabbing two each amongst the goalscorers.
Nostell Miners Welfare's search for their first points continue as they were beaten 2-1 at Long Eaton United whilst Liversedge won 4-3 at home to Lincoln Moorlands Railway, Glasshoughton Welfare beat hosts Garforth Town, 2-1, and there were draws for Pickering Town at Basford United and for Parkgate at home to Tadcaster Albion.
Eccleshill United left it late to keep their place at the top of Division One, Adam McCabe scoring the only goal of the game at Teversal in injury time.
The Eagles are a point ahead of Shaw Lane Aquaforce and AFC Emley who both won.
Danny Frost, Luke Danville and Paul Haigh netted for Aquaforce at fellow high-flyers Clipstone whilst AFC Emley were 4-3 winners at home to Hallam in a game that was halted for an hour after a first-half injury to away striker Mark West.
West, who had opened the scoring for the visitors on fourteen minutes, suffered a broken arm and, once play resumed, Emley took command with a double from Alex Hallam added to with strikes from Jordan Townsend and Mark Crossfield sandwiching a goal from Hallam's Adam Carter.
Nicky Owen pulled the visitors back to within a goal during stoppage time but the hosts held on to their lead to take all three points.
Worsbrough Bridge Athletic drop to fourth after their 2-2 home draw with Bottesford Town, Scott Turner's double for the home side cancelled out by strikes from Terry Barwick and Martin Pembleton.
Aaron Moxam struck four of Shirebrook Town's tally in their 6-0 victory at Louth Town to climb into fifth, Steve Wankiewicz and a Jonathon Walton own goal completing the rout.
There were away wins for Yorkshire Amateur, Cleethorpes Town, Hemsworth Miners Welfare, Pontefract Collieries and Hall Road Rangers.
The Ammers were 2-0 victors at bottom side Appleby Frodingham whilst Cleethorpes won by the same scoreline at Dinnington Town as did Hall Road at Selby Town.
Pontefract beat hosts Knaresborough Town, 3-1, and Hemsworth won 2-1 at Dronfield Town.
And, there was a big win for Grimsby Borough as five separate scorers gave them a 5-1 victory over visitors Rossington Main, Louis Grant, Jammal Shahin, Marco Magalhaes, Andrew Taylor and Renzie Lobendham with their goals.
