Attention turns mainly to the West Riding County Cup this midweek whilst there is one game in the Premier Division that could affect the top of the table.

Sheffield host Carlton Town on Tuesday evening knowing that a victory would make them league leaders on goal difference.

But, 14th-placed Carlton will be looking to build on their weekend win over Arnold Town to continue their move up the table and away from trouble.

The West Riding First Round action begins on Monday night as Yorkshire Amateur have a tough trip to Unibond League side Bradford Park Avenue.

The other three ties involving NCEL clubs take place on Tuesday evening with Tadcaster Albion going to The Shay to face Halifax Town and Armthorpe Welfare entertaining another Unibond side, Ossett Town.

And, there is an all NCEL tie at the Genix Healthcare Stadium as Garforth Town host fellow Premier Division side, Liversedge.
