Staveley Ready For Management Hunt
3rd October, 2008
Staveley Miners Welfare have begun their hunt for a new management team.
The positions are currently vacant after the KoolSport NCEL Division One side parted company with Steve Ludlam and Shaun Hird last month.
Formally opening their search, the Inkersall Road outfit said: "The club operates an ethos of whereby a majority of first team squad members are players who have previously completed a two or three year YTS contract with local professional clubs and other players showing a similar commitment and desire to that strong mentality required to have completed such a contract.
"The new management team will be part of a forward thinking club, setting their targets of progression through loyalty, desire, experience and commitment to the club and its ethos and be able to 'get into the minds' and 'secure respect' of this young squad.
"They will be expected to work with the existing first team squad, developing the latter and supplementing the same by discussions and agreements with the supportive Club's senior management as regards transfers, new signings and any proposed change in ethos or policy howsoever affecting the club and its objectives."
Applications are to be by email to the Club's Chairman, Terry Damms, at teldamms@aol.com.
