Nostell Miners Welfare and Scarborough Athletic will contest this year's KoolSport NCEL Presidents Cup Final.

Nostell progressed after 120 minutes of football on Wednesday failed to produce a goal at Hallam and they won the subsequent penalty shoot-out, 3-1.

It was more cut-and-dried at Queensgate where Scarborough won 5-1 against visitors Hall Road Rangers on Thursday.

David Hartas and Craig Hogg had the hosts two-up by the interval and that's how it stayed until the last twenty minutes when Hogg struck again and then a Mark Griffin strike and a Scott Phillips penalty made it a comfortable victory.

Rangers player-boss Jamie Barnwell netted a consolation four minutes from time.

The first leg of the Final will be played at Nostell on the 16th of April with the return on the 28th.

Another side booking a place in a Final are Bridlington Town who cantered through their last-four clash in the East Riding Senior Cup against Chalk Lane.

In a match played at Hall Road Rangers' ground, Brid struck three times within four minutes halfway through the first period to put the game to bed.

Craig Palmer opened the scoring from the penalty spot, then Chibuzor Chilaka and Nathan Hotte made it a triple salvo.

Anthony Bowsley got the fourth on 78 minutes before Chalk Lane finally got on the scoresheet but the last word belonged to the Seasiders with a Damien Fearn spot-kick.

Bridlington now face North Ferriby United in the Final at Hull City's ground on the 27th of April.

There was disappointment, though, for Rainworth Miners Welfare, who bowed out of the Notts Senior Cup at the Quarter-Final stage.

They were undone by an injury-time strike from Eastwood Town's Matthew Rhead in a 1-0 defeat at the Welfare Ground.

Two more NCEL League Cup semi-finalists are known with Mickleover Sports and Long Eaton United progressing to the final four on Tuesday night.

Sports kept their hopes of the double alive with a 2-0 win at Askern Villa, Karl Ashton with both goals in the first half.

And, second half strikes from Paul Gamble, Paolo Piliero and David Wilkins saw Long Eaton through, 3-0 at home to Hall Road Rangers.

Selby Town moved up to second and cut Mickleover's lead at the top of the Premier Division to six points with a 5-0 victory at Hallam on Monday night.

A Gareth Clayton own goal set them on their way in the eleventh minute and they quickly doubled that tally through Andrew Hart.

The remaining three goals from Leigh Wood, James McDaid and Steven Jeff came in the final eleven minutes.

In the battle to stay out of the bottom two, two of the three sides in danger played out a dramatic 4-4 draw.

Hosts Eccleshill United were 2-0 up against Brodsworth Welfare by the 50th minute thanks to goals from Andy Howland and Andrew Patterson.

Welfare responded though and went into the lead with a Liam Wilkin brace and a goal from Scott Bibby.

Marcus Edwards made it 3-3 with eleven minutes remaining before Bibby had seemingly given Brodsworth the victory in injury time.

But, there was still another twist, as Howland grabbed his second and a priceless fourth for the hosts to ensure the honours were shared.

Lincoln Moorlands Railway also drew, 0-0 at Liversedge, to ensure there remains only a one-point gap between the bottom three.

Ryan Tate's 79th-minute strike saw Maltby Main win 1-0 at Arnold Town whilst Winterton Rangers picked up a 3-0 victory at Armthorpe Welfare.

Staveley Miners Welfare's storming of the Division One table continued as a 5-1 home win over Worsbrough Bridge Athletic moved them up into fourth place.

Ryan Damms grabbed two whilst Lee Gregory, Andrew Brownrigg and Jamie Smith all got on the scoresheet in the first half.

They go above AFC Emley, who drew 0-0 at Grimsby Borough, as do Barton Town Old Boys who picked up a 4-1 victory at Brighouse Town with three of their goals coming in the opening seventeen minutes.

Leeds Carnegie won 2-0 at Pontefract Collieries with goals from Matt Chilton and Tom Leaver to move them into ninth.
