Good Luck from Young People campaign begins

3rd April, 2015

Youngsters in the Toolstation NCEL are being urged to tweet in their messages of support for the England women's football team ahead of their 2015 FIFA World Cup appearance in Canada this summer.

The FA National Game Youth Council will collate the well-wishes and print them on a huge St. George's flag that will be presented to the squad before they set off for the tournament.

It's the second time this has been done after hundreds of messages were delivered to the senior men's team before they played in the World Cup last year.

Young people aged between 5 and 24 can submit short messages either on twitter by using the hashtag #GLFYP or by using the following link: http://surveys.thefa.com/TakeSurvey.aspx?SurveyID=l4LK3853.

Messages can be sent in until 17th April, 2015, and prizes will be given away from The FA throughout this period to some of those who take part.

The FA National Game Youth Council is a group of talented and passionate young people who aim to provide a voice for all children and young people within football. Reporting directly into the Football Development Committee, they are able to influence change and develop a lasting legacy within the game.
