The funeral of Maltby Main's former chairman and long-time supporter Graham McCormick takes place this week.

The Toolstation NCEL Premier Division side are in mourning after hearing of his passing last Sunday.

A statement from the club read: "Graham was Maltby Main through and through and, prior to his recent health problems, never missed a match home and away, driving to away matches often with a car full of players.

"As chairman, Graham continued his love of the football club, often dipping into his own pocket in times of financial need and he was always there to step into the breach as other chairman came and went

"We all pass our condolences to Grahams' wife Betty and their family. He, and his contribution to the running of Maltby Main Football Club will never be forgotten."

Graham's funeral will be held at Rotherham Crematorium on Friday 14th November at noon and all at the NCEL pass on our deepest condolences to his friends and family and to Maltby Main.
