8th September, 2016
Selby Town have thanked Michael Carmody for all he has done for the Toolstation NCEL Division One club after it was announced that he was leaving them to become the new boss at Armthorpe Welfare.
The Robins admitted they were "rocked" by the news of their coach's departure to the Premier Division side.
But, they added that they "would like to thank Mick for all his hard work and dedication he showed at Selby and wish him all the best in his new role.
"He showed us the potential he has in his short time at Selby Town and we are certain he will do well."
Selby boss Nigel Emery will now begin his search for a new coach/assistant to help him move the Robins up the table.
