Shirebrook boss joins rivals
14th May, 2015
Julian Watts has become the manager of Rainworth Miners Welfare just a day after leaving Toolstation NCEL Division One side Shirebrook Town.
Shirebrook announced via their Twitter feed yesterday of his departure, saying: "Jullian Watts has today resigned as manager of the club. We thank Julian for all his hard work over the last season."
It comes at the end of a season which saw the Langwith Road outfit finish fourth in Division One after a late surge saw them pushing for promotion.
Watts' assistant Ady Smith has also made the move to Kirklington Road.
Rainworth, who are still waiting to hear which league they will go into following their resignation from the Evo-Stik League, have unveiled Watts as their new boss today saying they moved quickly to secure his services after they had learned of his departure from his previous club.
