18th September, 2014
Handsworth Parramore head the pack in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division after they leapfrogged Heanor Town and Shaw Lane Aquaforce to the top of the table in midweek.
The Amber Parras enjoyed a comfortable 5-1 victory at home to Bridlington Town whilst there were defeats for the two sides above them.
Callum Ward, Lee Whittington, Warren Burrell and Sam Smith gave them a four-goal advantage by the interval before Ashley Allanson pulled one back from the penalty spot early in the second half and Vill Powell netted a fifth for the hosts in stoppage time.
Heanor dropped their first points of the season despite taking a third minute lead at Maltby Main through Gary Ricketts.
Martin Jones and Brian Cusworth made sure the home side were 2-1 up at the break and Sam Forster doubled their advantage on 69 minutes.
Paolo Piliero pulled one back almost immediately but Maltby held on to move up into seventh spot with their 3-2 victory.
And, Aquaforce fell by the same scoreline at home to Barton Town Old Boys as the visitors got off the mark in the campaign, Scott Phillips claiming a brace for the Swans.
Worksop Town and Tadcaster Albion complete the top five who are beginning to pull away from the rest of division.
Jonathan Wafula netted twice for Worksop as they beat hosts Pickering Town, 4-1, and Josh Greening's four goals helped Tadcaster to a 5-1 home victory over Retford United.
Lee Bennett's 82nd minute strike was the only goal of the game as Athersley Recreation beat visitors Cleethorpes Town to climb up into sixth spot.
Tawandere Rupere's hat-trick ensured all three points went to Garforth Town in their 3-1 win at home to Albion Sports whilst Armthorpe Welfare find themselves bottom of the table after Callum Morton's 73rd minute goal saw them go down 1-0 to Liversedge at Church Street.
Honours were even at Inkersall Road as Staveley Miners Welfare drew 1-1 with Parkgate, Nathan Forbes cancelling out an early strike from Craig Fletcher for the away strike, and Antonie Burke scored both of Thackley's goals in their 2-1 win at home to Nostell Miners Welfare.
Injury time goals from Nathan Perks and Alex Hallam kept AFC Emley clear at the top of Division One in their dramatic 2-0 home victory over Dronfield Town.
They are two points ahead of Pontefract Collieries who won 3-1 at home to Rossington Main, an Adam Stevens own goal levelling after Lee Holmes had broken the deadlock for Main and then Andrew Catton and Matthew Marsden made sure of the win in the second period.
A 1-1 draw means Hemsworth Miners Welfare fall to third after they had gone ahead to visitors Selby Town on 48 minutes through Jason Yates but the equaliser came almost immediately from Dane Mortimer.
Joe Naylor's hat-trick in AFC Mansfield's 5-3 home win over Hall Road Rangers means they are above Clipstone on goals scored after their Nottinghamshire rivals won 2-1 at home to Worsbrough Bridge Athletic, Dan Wood with a second-half double.
Two late goals from Thomas Spall secured Bottesford Town a 4-1 victory over visitors Hallam to climb into sixth spot.
Grimby Borough moved out of the basement with a 2-2 draw at home to Teversal whilst Lincoln Moorlands Railway were held by the same scoreline by away side Winterton Rangers.
Viktor Balis got both of Eccleshill United's goals in their 2-0 win at Penistone Church to move above their hosts into eighth and Shirebrook Town's upturn in fortune continued as they beat hosts Knaresborough Town, 3-0, with goals from Keiron Watson, Ricky Hanson and Jamie York.
