Main 'staggered' by manager response

Maltby Main have thanked all applications and expressions of interest for the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division side's vacant managers job.

The Miners are looking for the successor to Spencer Fearn who left, along with his backroom staff, to join Evo-Stik League side Frickley Athletic earlier this month.

The closing date for applications has now passed and the committee at Maltby have thanked those who have expressed an interest.

The club say that chairman Wilf Race has been staggered by the quality and number of applications received.

Shortlisting will now take place with interviews being scheduled for next week with the successful candidates.
